Using our SakuraBead technology. Both cases were highly successful. One patient was unable to raise her arm above shoulder level and had shoulder pain reaching 80 on a 100-point scale. As shown, she was able to reach straight up almost completely pain free after her procedure. It is satisfying to see such a dramatic improvement coming directly from our embolic. Thanks to Dr Sherzod Iskhakov and his team who performed the procedure and Dr Ana Fernandez and Dr Mark Little who proctored the cases via video link.

The anatomy was complicated, across the two patients we embolized 7 sites of inflammation. Using a resorbable particle, we were able to embolize from proximal positions where target vessels were too small for catheterization. This highlighted the absolute need for a resorbable embolic for this indication.
